The UNDP, under the CEDRO V Project (European Union Co-funded project) and in partnership with LGBC, has supported the development of a local rating system, by developing a web based green building rating system (GBRS) for commercial buildings (offices, malls, hospitals, hotels, schools). This allows access to a user-friendly tool, tailored to the Lebanese market, through paid official certification processes.

Four training workshops for the GBRS have been conducted in Tripoli, Nabatieh, Zahle and Saida.
