Community projects are at the core of CEDRO's mission in Lebanon, the project implemented numerous renewable energy and energy efficiency systems.

The Education sector in Lebanon is one of the main beneficiaries of the CEDRO UNDP project.

During the initial phases of the CEDRO UNDP project (2010-2015), the Health sector was one of the main beneficiaries of large solar water heating systems implemented in public hospitals across Lebanon.

The industrial sector is one of the cornerstones of the Lebanon economy and one of the most energy intensive users. In 2015-2016 the CEDRO project published two important studies about energy efficiency in industry along with a publication on industry and jobs.

The agricultural sector has a relatively low share of Lebanon's GDP output when compared to other sectors such as the services and industry.

The Defense sector has long been an important partner to the CEDRO projects. The project implemented several large water heating systems and solar PV systems in military academies, army barracks and prisons.
