During the first phases of the project, small off-grid Solar PV systems (1-3 kWp) with led-acid battery storage were installed in public schools and public library across Lebanon to feed their critical loads (lighting and crucial electric equipment).
More recently, public schools, public libraries, private universities and technical schools are benefiting from larger hybrid on-grid solar PV systems (10-200 kWp) that were either connected to diesel generators, the utility grid or both.
