The Khraybet El Matn public school is located in the qaza of Matn, Mount Lebanon. The school hosts 180 students per year and employs 20 staff members. In 2012, the school received a 1.125 kWp solar PV system with batteries. The system was implemented by the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government and is designed to save the school $246 per year in electricity cost and 1.7 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
