The technical school in Dekwaneh is located in the qaza of Matn, Mount Lebanon. The school offers a wide range of vocational training courses and degrees in electrical and mechanical formations. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 2.7 kWp solar PV system with lead-acid batteries. The system is designed to save the municipality $591 per year on electricirty cost and 4.1 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
