The municipality of Ebrine, Batroun, North Lebanon employs two permanent staff members that cater to the need of the village's residents. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 1.8 kWp solar PV system with batteries to save $394 per year of electricity cost. The system saves on the environment 2.8 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
