The public hospital in Jezzine hosts 20 beds and serves the community surrounding the Jezzine area in South Lebanon. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented an 2000L solar water heater system that is designed to heat 2,000 liters of water and saves $2,400 from the fuel cost and 9 tons of CO2 yearly.
