The public hospital in Bent Jbeil, Nabatieh, South Lebanon hosts more than 100 beds and serves the community in the surrounding area. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented an 6000L solar water heater system that is designed to heat 6,000 liters of water and saves $8,600 from the fuel cost and 24 tons of CO2 yearly.
