Funded by the German Government through KFW Bankengruppe and in coordination with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the UNDP has implemented several sustainable energy interventions targeting 15 public sector hospitals in response to the impact of COVID-19 in Lebanon. The technologies implemented include PV systems, SWH systems, complete lighting retrofit with LED lamps, VFDs, a Building Management System (BMS) and a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to digitize and improve maintenance management at the hospital.
