The intermediate public school of Kfarchouba is located in the qaza of Hasbaya, Nabatieh, South Lebanon. In 2010, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish kingdom implemented a 1.125 kWp solar PV system with batteries to save $246 per year in electricity cost. The system saves on the environment 1.7 tons of CO2 emissions per year. In 2019, the set of lead-acid batteries was replaced by the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the kingdom of Netherlands.
