Founded in 1866, AUB is a Lebanese Private University located in the heart of Beirut, it hosts 9,000 students per year and 1,200 faculty members across seven faculties. In 2016, the ENPI funded UNDP MedSolar project implemented a 150 kW solar PV system that is designed to save $30,000 per year electricity and diesel cost and 142 tons of CO2 per year.
