Al Ain Municipality is located in Baalback, Bekka and hosts 10 permanent staff members. In 2012, the CEDRO UNDP project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 1.125 kWp system with lead-acid batteries to save the municipality $246 on their yearly electricity cost, environmentally the system saves 1.7 tons of CO2 per year.
