We focused on establishing a renewable energy market through tens of pilot projects in commercial solar hot water (SHW), small-scale solar photovoltaic (PV), micro-wind, efficient indoor and street lighting, among others on public schools, hospitals, army barracks and municipalities. We initiated assessments on Lebanon’s renewable energy potential, culminating with the publishing the national wind atlas, the national biomass strategy, the national geothermal energy potential, among others. We worked on building capacity among various stakeholder and on effective outreach and awareness to build confidence in the new rising potential of sustainable energy.
