The public school in Kfour, Nabatieh, South Lebanon hosts 50 students per year and 15 staff members. In 2011, a 2 kWp system was implemented by the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the kingdom of Spain. The system is designed to save the school $438 per year on electricity costs and 3.1 tons of CO2 emissions. In 2019, the set of lead-acid batteries was replaced by the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Netherlands Kingdom.
