El Kalaa community center is located in the qaza of Baabda in Mount Lebanon. The community center employs 2 permanent staff members. In 2009, a 2 kWp system was implemented by the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government. The system is designed to save the school $438 per year on electricity cost and 3.1 tons of CO2 emissions.
