The Tahrir Educational Institute is located in the village of Sutanieh, Bint Jbeil, Nabatieh, South Lebanon. As a boarding school with a high share of orphans amongst their enrolled students, the Facility provides financial and social support for the students with special circumstances. In 2016, the UNDP MedSolar project funded by the EU implemented a 117 kWp Solar PV system on the roof of the market. The System is designed to save $8,000 per year on diesel and electricity costs and 112 tons CO2 per year.
