The Sultanieh municipality is located in Bint Jbeil, Nabatieh, South Lebanon and employs 3 permanent staff members. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 1.125 kWp solar PV system with lead-acid battery storage. The system is design to save $246 per year on electricity cost and 1.7 tons of CO2 per year.
