Al Nour Public School - Mina

Al Nour Secondary public school is located in Tripoli, North Lebanon , and hosts a total of 250 students and 31 staff members. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 1.125 kWp solar PV system with lead-acid battery storage. The system is designed to save $246 per year on electricity cost and 1.7 tons of CO2 per year. In 2019 with funding from the Netherlands Kingdom, the lead-acid battery set was changed and the charge controller fixed.
