The municipality of Ayta Shaeb is located in the qaza of Bint Jbeil, Nabatieh, South Lebanon , and employs 5 permanent staff members. In 2012, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented a 1.125 kWp solar PV system with lead-acid battery storage. The system is designed to save $246 per year on electricity cost and 1.7 tons of CO2 per year.
