Ramlye Public School

The Ramliyeh public school is the only school located in the town of Ramliyeh, Shouf, Mount Lebanon and hosts 100 students. The UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Spanish Government implemented in 2015, an 11 kWp pico-hydro system with batteries that is located 950m away from the school on a water irrigation canal. The system is the first of its kind in Lebanon and is designed to save $3,200 per year and 22 tons of CO2 per year.
