The Community center in Ras Baalback runs three medical clinins serving dentistry, gynecology and pediatrics, and cardiac health. In 2014, the CEDRO UNDP project funded by the Spanish Kingdom implemented a 1 kWp micro-wind with battery storage that is designed to produce 7 kWh of electricity per day amounting to a total saving of $256 per year and 1.8 tons of CO2 per year.
