The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is a private Catholic higher education institution founded by the Lebanese Maronite Order (LMO) in 1938. USEK is located in the heart of Mount Lebanon and welcomed 8,000 students per year across twelve faculties and three institutions. In 2017, the UNDP CEDRO 4 project funded by the EU, implemented a 212 kWp solar PV system that is designed to save $40,000 per year on diesel and electricity costs and 210 tons CO2 per year.
