The public school in Tebnine, Bint Jbeil, Nabatieh, South Lebanon, is attended by 880 Lebanese students and 250 Syrian refugees students. The school employs approximately 100 staff members to cater for all three levels of education (primary, middle and secondary). In 2018, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands implemented a 40 kWp Solar PV system as a carport structure facing the school. The system is designed to save the school on electricity and diesel costs $8,800 per year and 42 tons in CO2 emissions.
