We focused on host communities in both Akkar and Bekaa, being epicenters for hosting Syrian refugees. Sustainable home (solar home systems) and street lighting and sustainable heating (via locally produced stoves and briquettes) were delivered to tens of villages and hundreds of homes. Furthermore, we set up a 500 tons biomass briquetting plant for the municipality of Aandket and its associated forests to provide continuous and sustainable briquettes to Aandket and its vicinity.
