This report investigates the Renewable Energy industrial sector in Lebanon in terms of available technology know-how, potential for production / application and education platform. The assessment includes a review of the status of ongoing RE projects, the situation of the industrial sector – including RES manufacturing, import and assembly – and the physical and economic feasibility of implementing future RE projects locally. The outlook of the sector is then evaluated, taking into account the existing industrial infrastructure, labor force, production expansion interests, and Lebanon’s competitive advantages for RE development.
