A guideline report on Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems has been developed by the EU funded UNDP CEDRO project and the LCEC, in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Water. The guideline report provides a general overview of the GSHP concept and functionality. Furthermore, the report showcases the design, implementation, potential and limitations of GSHP systems in Lebanon based on the design and implementation experience of the 1.08 MW GSHP system at the Medrar Medical Center (MMC) in Choukine. Finally, a GSHP NEEREA guidelines template is provided for future potential applications in Lebanon.
