Notre Dame de Secours Hospital

The Notre Dame de Secours hospital is a private university hospital located in Byblos, Mount Lebanon. The hospital was established in 1950 and used to hold 18 beds, nowadays the hospital is composed of seven blocks with a capacity of 275 beds. In 2018, the UNDP CEDRO project funded by the Netherlands Kingdom implemented a 600 kWp solar PV system on the rooftops, building façade and carports of the hospital. The system is designed to save the hospital $125,000 per year on electricity and fuel costs and 621 tons of CO2 per year.
