Founded in 1959, Liban Jus is a Lebanese juice and icecream manufacturer located in Hadath, Baabda, Mount Lebanon. The UNDP CEDRO IV project funded by the EU implemented in December 2015, a 135 kWp solar PV system that is designed to save the industry $26,000 per year on its electricity cost and save 138 tons of CO2 per year. After the success of the project, the Liban Jus management decided to invest in upgrading the system to a total of 919 kWp, designed to save a total of $175,000 per year and 817 tons of CO2.
